COVID-19 Measures

On 2 April 2020, Professor Michael Kid AM, (Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Australian Government Department of Health) announced that Allied Health (including Chiropractic) services are essential services and Blanchfield Chiropractic remains open to help patients.

I have taken infection control training with The Department of Health and also take other measures to help minimise the risk in my office.  I take the following measures to help keep my patients safe:

  • I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19

  • Clean my treatment table after each patient.

  • Clean the treating room desk after each patient.

  • Clean the reception countertop after each patient.

  • Clean the door handles after each patient.

  • Change the face paper after each patient.

  • Have a non-contact infrared thermometer.

  • Have hand sanitiser available in my treatment room.

  • Have tissues available in my treatment room.

  • Have surgical masks available in my treatment room. (As well as gloves and safety goggles).

  • Book patients so that there is only one patient at a time in my office.

  • Email first visit forms to new patients. These can be emailed back to me when completed.

  • I am vaccinated against the flu.

  • I have been checked and found clear of COVID-19 and will continue to be checked as needed.

  • QR code check in.
